This is the typeface of The Walrus, a registered charity who publish independent, fact-based journalism in Canada. We’re working with them regularly since the launch of the publication. The design of The Walrus typeface is an extension of their masthead we did. The major difference is the addition of regular A. We added an OpenType feature to change THE to the vertical position as on the original logotype. The aim of the new typeface is to serve the developement of the punblication: The Walrus Talks, The Walrus Lab, as well others new ideas on the way.
